No frills, no fuss

From the moment our doors open at 5:30 a.m., there's usually a line out the door. Our regulars are locals who sit at the same table every morning, with the same cup of coffee and the same hearty, homemade cuisine.

There's a reason a line sprawls down the block every weekend at Boyd & Wurthmann.

Some will claim it's the delicious pie. Others will assure you it’s the peanut butter spread. But the locals who come back each day will tell you the truth: it's because the country diner hasn't changed in over 75 years. And in a community that places a high priority on tradition, that's exactly what makes it a hometown favorite.

Our history made us who we are today.
