A must it's amazing

I had their flounder special.
3 large pieces were served.
They were deep fried to a very dark brown to almost black coating.
I now know I don't like flounder. It has a very strong fish taste.

Get the black raspberry pie with ice cream. If you don't believe in God, you just might after eating that.

Edit: Stopped in for dinner with family the other day. Ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatoes, dressing, and gravy. I also got dessert, peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream.

The food here is really good for the most part. The country fried steak is one of their better menu items. The protein is crispy and full of flavor. The .ashed potatoes are so smooth. The dressing is good, but it's a bit on the moist side. Especially after getting gravy doused on it.

All in all though, solid food. However, the real reason you come here is for the desserts. And the peach cobbler is off the charts delicious. You have to get it when peaches are in season.

It has an amazing crispiness to it, and is super sweet. The peaches were fresh and not overshadowed by the rest of the dessert. Just an absolute perfect balance to this dessert. And the ice cream with it is just a wonderful touch.

10/10 as with all their desserts. Will be back.

The breakfast was great, the pie is awesome. The staff is very nice, pleasant.

Best home style breakfast around.

Great wonderful homemade food

Our favorite place to eat in Holmes County. The food is unfailingly delicious! Homemade food that is top notch!

First time there. Long line to get in , but it went fairly fast, and nobody minded the wait, as they knew about the yummy, home-cooked meal and dessert they'd be served. Friendly and attentive staff. Close quarters inside, as it's always full. Would go back, if in the area.

Hearty portions, good food, wonderful service and reasonable prices.
We always grab food here when we are in the area.
