One of my favorite places to visit and eat at . The food is always top notch. If you are in Berlin Ohio. Stop in and have some good food.

This is the renowed Boyd Wurthmann Restaurant located in the heart of Belin Ohio SR 39 in Holmes County Ohio. Wife and i hit this place a couple of times with each visit. Food is amazing especially the deserts and those Friday & Saturday night Specials/ I believe they close early around 2 or so most days but on those Fridays and Saturday they stay open until 7 pm. Friday specials include a Prime Rib Dinner Cooked to order for 26.99 with 2 sides and a Rib dinner special for 16.99 at the time of this posting September 2025. With the ribs special for 18.99 you can eat all you care to for $ 2.00 more.... Expect to wait in line with each visit due to the popularity of this place. With each bowl of soup they add at no charge a chunk of Guggisberg Baby Swiss to boot. They have a great staff that is friendly and happy to accommodate your food request. They have a huge menu. Spring and fall offers a best chance to grab a bite without the long wait. Be sure to grab a Friday or Saturday night specialty dinner as well as the regular menu items. Ladies, save room for the Dutch Apple Pie Alamode, or one of their many other specialty deserts. Enjoy our photos.

Best Pierre around

The food is always great. The service is amazing. There is usually a line to get in but it moves quickly and is well worth it.

Wish I took a picture. Super cozy mom and pop style with great food and service and the price was right.

First time here and when we got there, there was a line out the door. It is totally understandable why! This place is amazing! Almost everything is made from scratch in house and you can tell! Also, Olivia our server was absolutely wonderful! She made our whole experience even better! I can't wait to go back!

Came from New Zealand to Berlin specificallyto visit. Great service, fair prices and genuinely the best slice of pie I have ever eaten.

We had an amazing lunch at Boyd and Wurthman. The service was fantastic and wow, the selection of pies was amazing. Lots of homestyle favorites, including trail bologna sandwiches. We would highly recommend. They open at 5:30 in the morning for early risers and it is definitely worth the wait if there is a line.
