Deep in the heart of Holmes county, this restaurant delivers. I urge you to try the potato salad, the Amish know what they’re doing!

I visited Amish country this morning with the intention of sampling Boyd & Wurthmann's buckwheat pancakes, which fully met expectations. The Berlin, OH location is one of the area's most in-demand dining spots. Opening at 5:30 AM, it attracts a substantial crowd even at this early hour. Regular patrons frequently dine here, and tourists who discover its popularity often face lengthy wait times. The menu features an array of home cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, including exceptional homemade pies. The service is outstanding. Visitors should be prepared to pay with cash, as this establishment does not accept alternative payment methods.

The atmosphere was just like a cozy diner experience, but the food was outstanding! All the servers were super friendly and attentive. My wife had a smothered chicken which was on special and she raved about it. I had the country fried steak and it was the best I have had. All their sides were delicious and don't forget to get a piece of pie!

This is a down home local restaurant that you won't regret trying. Had the roast beef and Mashed Potatoes. Gravy was amazing.
